I want to increase the power of my S4 without going overboard.

I'm looking to upgrade my stock exhaust for more power...but, I don't want a loud ricey sound. I want it quiet during normal driving, then loud at WOT. Any recs? Borla?

How about an ECU chip/reflash?

Borla would be a good choice, from what I've been told it isn't as loud as the Twin 1. There's a Borla for sale on Fourtitude for $300.

I like APR for the chip; GIAC is also popular but ASP, EPL, MTM also have tunes. You can probably find a used chip on a forum classified section too.

I enjoyed the APR stage 1 flash with an AWE Twin 2.

APR was pretty quick and the Twin 2 was modest at lower speeds with a good sound (though I wouldn't say "loud") up top.

Can you give me a link to a thread on here that answers noob questions like ecu flash, etc...and perhaps answers my next question-

How much gain off APR Stage 1 Flash...and gain from AWE exhaust?

AWE Twin 2 get my vote with APR's a close second. I'd go with APR's ECU over Giac's.
