Anyone here driven a Brembo AND an Alcon car? Looking for a head-to-head comparo

LOL, unless you have lots of events under your belt, stock power is more than enough
Just ask anyone on this forum that has tracked his/her S4. I was running 12 psi at the track this weekend and look what happened to my brakes. Still too much power for my medicore skills.
Being fast on the track is not about having lots of horsepower. Well, except if you're Josh =p

If you're going to track the car - doesn't matter which one you get - you're still going to need rac
race pads. As far as street use goes, the Brembos probably don't work any better but they are primo quality. The caipers are very well made and changing pads takes literally 30 seconds a side once the wheels are off.

driving school = track event. They only call it a driving school for insurance purposes
So basically it's track time plus some requisite classroom time plus strict rules on ensuring there is no "racing".
To drive the point home further, two of the better drivers from this board - OW Kenobi (RIP) and WindyCityS4 - both track[ed] their S4s in stock mode. I got a ride from Darryl this past weekend in his stock ECU/turbo S4 and he would kick my ASP Stage 3 car's as$ anyday on the track.
