Default although... those veins look like they suck air out of the outside of the rotor so maybe it ducts to

the "inside" of the veins if they are accessible with those rotor hats??

that looks like a good idea, where do they draw the air from?

Default Umm, think centrifugal force...

Air will pump out.

Default Ahah... that 'tis the question. It's very difficult on a B5 S4.

There's really only one spot: below the front bumper; scoop it up via a NACA duct.

Default how can you ensure that you'll put the duct in a high pressure area?

otherwise wouldn't it all be a wasted effort?

Default What about that S4 that has the port on the inboard side of the IC shrouds..

looks like a base port or the ports the old B5 cars from Champion used to have in the headlights..

true in general, but if you put those rotors on backwards i bet their rotation would force air "in"

Default Well do you want to take away air off your intercoolers?

Those intercooler ducts peform a function and if you change the way they funnel air into the intercooler then you're sacrificing the efficiency of the intercooler for cooling your brakes. Also, you won't be able to use a very large air duct if you pull air off the front of the car. Goes back to the age old aeronautics question: do you want to move a large amount of air a little? Or do you want to move a small amount of air a lot? You could fit some pretty large NACA ducts on the bottom of the car and use a full 3" hose, although you'd have to neck it down for the 2.5" stasis mount.

Default I'll see your backwards rotor and raise you a directional hat...

Stoptech designed their hats to pump air into the center of the rotor so while your theory of reversing the direction of the rotor *might* be doable, if you have a directional hat trying to send air into the center of the rotor you'll be worse off.
