Default Audi Curb Weights - Clarification needed.

I always though B5 S4s weighed around 3600 lbs, but looking at specs in the archives tells a different story. What is correct for a 6 speed sedan? Specs Listed:

2000 Audi S4 - 3384 lbs (Same as A4 2.8Q)
2001 Audi S4 - 3593 lbs

Just for fun:

2007 Audi RS4 - 3957 lbs ;-O

Default Here'sa nifty secret: Inside the spare tire well, check out the sticker. It will list the weight of

your individual S4 (in KG) based on your options etc...

Mine came out to be 3650 lbs on the dot, 6 Speed. There's a thread with tons of different weights from this sticker over on AZ.

Default The weight listed for the 2000 is wholly incorrect.

Most 6-spd. 2000 models would check in between 3570-3610 with a full tank of gas before any lightening was done to them.

Default Gee, and all that stuff adds up to a couple dozen pounds. Of course I'm sure...

...I wouldn't answer otherwise. My 2000 S4 is down to a few pounds under 3400 sitting on a nearly empty tank with the spare out now, and that's after lighter brakes, exhaust, flywheel and battery.

Default Which ESP parts add up to more than that?

The weight difference between the hollow steel and solid aluminum uprights was only a few pounds. Early 2000's had them; later 2000's did not.

Default I do remember reading that the aluminum saved only ~4-5 lbs per side

So 10 lbs tops
