Default Yeah, well the ABS should've been made a recall. As for the cluster

It isn't about trying to save money. It's about Audi recognizing and making good on an obviously failed part. IIRC, the replacement clusters suffer the same issue.

So nobody is dragging you into anything, nor wasting the time of an organization whose purpose is just this.

If you don't want to get involved, or you don't agree then don't write a letter and better yet, don't even bother posting in these threads.

Have a pleasant day :-)

Default What about a brake failure other than pads? Or total loss of coolant? Or loss of oil?

You'll hear the beep, but if you can't see it, you won't know what it's telling you the problem is.

It may be a fine line, but it's still a safety issue to a degree and should be addressed. Especially on a car that costs this much.

If they are truly determined to uphold brand loyalty, they would do this.

Default "If your cluster is working fine, you can still send a letter and state that it was replaced"

I do not support Fraud.

Default I know full well what is going on with my car. But they have to built a car for everyone. That

would include someone that knows nothing about cars, like my girlfriend. Anyone have a wife in here that might drive the car every now and then?? Gona be real happy when she drives the thing 20 miles with no oil in it?

Default Good point. We're trying to get these replaced and it'll all go to hell if they think we're being

fraudulent.
