AudiWorld Expert
tell me about it - this morning I said I was relieved last week was behind me...
now I'm thinking that I'll be drinking more after this week than last week....

I have it and really like it, fwiw..
The shortest throw setting (35%??) does require slightly more force but the shifter is very precise and has a heavier feel to it. I always worried about missing the 2nd to 3rd shift (in the 1/4 mile) with the stock shifter, and I'm sure it cost me some time.
It took about a week to get used to the shorter throw. I kept pushing on it again for a few days to be sure it was actually in gear.
I might try the other setting (10%?) just to see how it feels. The current setting is great for driving hard but I wonder if the easier effort setting would be better for driving to work, etc.
Look how solid this thing is!:

I hope there are no bad reviews when it's actually out of alignment
Not liking the heavier/mechanical feel is a personal thing and is a valid complaint. The best "feel" of something is up to each person. I just hope people don't post negative reviews before actually having it aligned properly.
I couldn't get it adjusted as shown in the install video. I had to loosen the alignment bolt on the passenger side shaft to allow enough travel to get it leaned 7 degrees to the rear.
