Does anyone have actual Audi OEM specs for B5 S4 drive axle lengths. I've run into an issue with aftermarket axles that I don't believe meet OEM specs, and have been trying to find what they are. I have also read from forum members there is a difference in length between passenger and driver side, and I'd like to confirm what the difference is. The replacement axle i obtained is 5/8" longer than the one that I am replacing. It physically won't fit using the same procedure I use to remove it, and from my measurements I think it would be pressure on the gear box cv drive flange which could cause damage if I were to use it. All dimensions are with the axle fully compressed

Front right manual - 636 mm, 25 1/32"
front left manual - 616 mm, 24 1/4"
Front left auto - 530 mm, 20 7/8"
Front right auto - 501.5 mm, 19 3/4"

Why are you replacing the axles? Are they broken or are the boots just torn?
