Default B5 S4 front/rear bumber question: What to do?

Had a redread on the freeway take out my front bumper, fog lights, craced part of the rear wheel well, pulled apart the rear bumber, front grill, scratch up the hood...etc.

So, do I keep it stock or RS4 or what? Any thoughts?

Default reply in the subject line... i got mine from tmtuning.com, avalon and other places can get them too

from what i remember, tmtuning was about $500 + $400 shipping from germany. the box it shipped in was pretty f'n big tho, and they squeezed in a bunch of other parts (including a GTi bumper), which helped offset the cost of air freight.

tuners here quoted me about $900+s/h, so it was actually cheaper to order it from germany. the euro exchange rate is a lot worse now though, so expect prices to have risen accordingly... shop around

Default RS4 front I think depends on where you live... If there are shops that have done it before

and you want to spend the extra money (1300 shipped with fogs for bumper and about 1K give or take a few hundred for fit and paint) then go ahead... but if you are trying to get a shop that has not done it before to do it my advice would be to just mod the S4 bumper into an RS4 bumper (remove the center dividers and so forth) because it will take many many fittings to get it right, if you ever get it right, at a shop which has not done this before (no matter how good they are) and this will cost you a lot of anger, frustration, and MONEY... trust me I know
