The driver side xenon on my S4 went out but, came back on after I popped the cover . Now it is out and a new bulb didn't do the trick.

I noticed the black cable that runs from the xenon bulb holder to a silver box labeled valeo; my guess this is the ballast for the xenon?

My hunch - fuse, ballast, or cable.

Has anyone had this issue with a known fix? Does anyone have a decent wiring diagram of the headlight assembly that would assist in trouble shooting?

swap your ballast and see if works. If yes, buy new ballast.

Thanks Bruce. I was trying to avoid doing any real troubleshooting but, seems like that is the best way.
