Default Battery and Starter issues

Whenever it rains more than softly, my hazards turn on. They don't flash at all but just sit on til my battery dies. Also when it rains, my starter decides to stop working, making it damn near impossible to jump my car. Does anyone have a clue as to what is causing any of this?

Hard to say... maybe a leak under your dash onto the rely board for starter or hazards? When it rains again, I would jump the starter soleniod B+ connector (top left corner of engine bay) with the + on the battery to narrow down the problem. That will tell you if the starter and wiring to teh connector is good.

Have you checked and cleaned out the drains in the cowl area that are under the battery tray and the brake booster?

Did you find your problem on this one?

I can almost guarantee you its a problem in the trunk of your car. There is a drain in the passenger rear corner of the trunk where your Central locking unit is. I had another A4 have this problem and everytime we got a little rain it would pool back there and over time destroys the central locking unit if not cleaned. hopefully it hasn't been wet too long. make sure you clean out that drain and dry out the central locking pump and clean and dry the wiring. literally just fixed this a few months ago. Unfortunately went through two locking pumps figuring out it was the drain that was clogged. good thing I had 5 of them.

I was also thinking you don't have to wait for it to rain... just use hose and wet the windshield and top of car while a friend looks at wiring for leak. Just a though...

No I have not figured out the problem, I've been trying to fix the brakes also. I'm just trying to get some ideas together then when i get the chance i'm gonna test everything out, i'm gonna try the trunk though because I had the same issue in my Jetta a few years back with the trunk leak.
