This would seem to fit within the purview of an illegal act if they in fact offered to sell the car to you. If Bellavia is in NY, I would imagine a state as liberal as that has something similar. Hell, the TX DTPA may even be applicable -- internet jurisdiction is a very unsettled issue in the courts but most interpretations are that one subjects itself to the jurisdiction of any place where the website can be reached from (I think)
