Default boost issues: 2xboost gauge reading 29psi, vagcom ready 2550 mbars... wtf??

so i had 2 different mechanical boost gauges read 29+psi but when i log the vagcom it read 2550 mbars.

boost gauge is hooked up via a t off the vac line going to the FPR.

which one do i trust ?

Default i think i'm having similar issue. need to check wastegate control lines.

if possible, put 6-8 psi through the wastegate control line coming off of the n75. wastegates should open/close, or you'll find a vacuum hose torn.

theory is: not enough vacuum due to torn hose, so not enough force to get the wastegates open, therefore more boost going to turbos than there should be.

limit is just as referenced above since that's the highest the ECU will recognize (it's the limit of the MAP sensor).

With AWE S3 and standalone MBC, I can spike up to 29-30 if I should allow it to do so...

Depends on altitude. In Co at 5600', I can read 25psi (ambient is 820 mBAR)
