Default as some have pointed out, altitude will affect it, but it is the MAP sensor limit on the ECU, so

anything that reads the ECU for info (like vag-com or ecux)is at the mercy of what the ECU can report, and the ECU can only report levels as high as the MAP sensor limit.

Default waiting to hear back from ASP. fairly confident it's a software issue.

as REQUESTED boost is through the roof (along with actual). if it were just actual - - then i'd be hunting more for leaks.

as for accurately logging boost: recently learned that the zeitronix wide band has an option to incorporate a MAP sensor of its own which will let you log boost via their application (other widebands probably can do that too, don't know). they have 2 sensors: 1 that reads up to 50 psi, another up to 75.

Default yeah i have a 5bar sensor on my other car, you have ASP stage 3 tip software too? wonder if our

problems are similar...

i have a asp software for stage 3 tip as well. my requested boost is only 2440mbar though. guess im having bad luck w/ n75 valves

w/ the stage 3 i cant punch it anywhere below 50mph or else my transmission just goes into limp mode stupid tip software sucks:

huge clunk, follow by all the gears highlighted on the LCD and pull the warranty void code on the tcu

i have a few questions:

1) what type ecu do you have? i'm L box but when i got my ecu back from asp in VAG it some up as a J

2) are you getting any misfires at idle?

3) do you have any of your logs?

Default hmmm...you shouldn't be going into limp mode..

first things first: if requested is showing below MAP sensor limit but your boost is way up there, you very likely have a wastegate control line problem. either the n75 itself, or a rip in the line leading to the wastegates. like i mentioned here before, you should try and put 6-8 psi through that line to see if the wastegates open or you hear/see hissing along the way. you should post a log somewhere.

L and J box are interchangeable, so that should be fine.

I don't have misfires at idle

Search on any of my posts with pictures in them over the last 4-6 months: you should get a handful of hits with logs linked to them. You can also browse my website at s4.thefarnys.com and look at logs i have posted there.

Have you always gone into limp mode or just now when your boost is this high? It should NOT do this when all is normal with your car. I've never had it happen (some people experience it in 1st if they can't shift fast enough out of it, but that's about it). And what is that exact code you mentioned? Can you post a vag-com autoscan log?

Default yeah i put a MBC back in there and its work fine for now, i know its not the wg lines

cause i replaced them myself when i did my turbos, and pressure tested twice with no issues, also i even used a vacuum pump to see how it holds vacuum and all is well. so just means i have 2 bad n75 valve. i hit limp mode when im in low gear and floor it i get the "vehicle speed exceeded WARRANTY VOID!" code.

my boost levels were all messed up, but since taking out the n75 and placing in the MBC for now, im holding like 19-20psi fine, till i get the issue resolved this is what i'll have to do.
