What you see are the following...water spots; I eashed them while they were off the car, and left to dry in the sun.. Remains of the Simichrome I used to polish the lips; I used Simichrome on the lips and as I wiped it off I dragged the rag across the clear coated spokes...after a quick wipedown they look great....

neither of those explain the veins near the centercap or on the edges of the spokes though.

Not sure what veins are...but the only visible imperfections are around the wheel bolt holes...some minor scratches inflicted by a mechanic.

The finish on the center caps is shot...you can't see the logo anymore, on any of them. The edges of the center cap have the o-ring exposed a bit...fixed it today...

Other than that it must be an aboraton from the digicam...

In any event, they are going in over the winter to be refinished like my old Kinesis...glass beaded centers and polished lips..also going to have the barrels polished...

Seems like it would be hard to get all four done before it hardens.

Also, you mentioned multiple coats on the G2. Is this one coat, let dry, another coat, let dry, or just keep lathering up?
