My ride is Audi UrS6 1995(AAN engine).
I have STFA and seem to be there're a lot S4 got the bad PCV.my car symthom is everytime when the car is on the idle,the car will start to smoke out.it's a bit blue color and smell like oil burning.So i need to hit some gas for a while to blow it out. Sometimes the car will smoke after switched off the motor for 10-15 mins and on again.the smoke will not come out when it's cruising even you hit or let off the gas or under boost.
Thnigs done;
Rebuilt the K24;actually,it's supposed to be in a good shape.No any clues of oil leak from the hot or cold side.but my car has been over 150000 miles.So i think it's not bad idea to get the new turbo seals
overhaul the whole cylinder head;included port polished,reground the valve seat &valve,valves stem seal,valves guide
Bottom end also new piston rings,shafts.

after finished the job.the smoke is out again.the symthom is the same as before get the cylinder head off.So what about the PCV valve?
can it cause the car smoke?I'm blind.pls helps

actually,i intended to post on this forum due to i've STFA and found that seem to be the S4 forum is most mentioned about the PCV valve.you can try search and type "PCV".
for the puff smoke issue.it should not be the rings anymore because i've just replaced the brand new rings.hopefully,it's the PCV valve.
it's pissed me off over 2 months.
