doesn't leaded gas also kill your O2 sensors?

Default My understanding is yes.

If you run leaded for too long, you will foul the O2 sensors(?), but it takes a while.

Default Not immediately.

A friend has been running leaded in his dragster Rabbit for a while now, sensors still OK.

Default I was told that the old school O2 sensors yes, but not so much the new O2 sensors.

However i would not recommend to run leaded as a day to day gas, the o2s will die eventually.

Default i thought leaded gas could mess up your injectors too?

one of my good buddies(who is a car expert) told me they destroy cats, and could mess up your o2's and your fuel injectors, after i was going to fill up with some 110 leaded at the track but then decided not to.

it just sucks that the highest unleaded octane is like 104
