Default Carorder.com

Carorder.com will have S4's available for order at invoice after Audi officially releases everything, right? I'm really hoping they will.

Default Possibly, but I doubt it (more)

CarOrder is looking to build market share. They don't carry every car, in general only the more popular ones. Also, if they cannot negotiate a "reasonable" price from the dealers for a model, they will not carry it.

Note that CarOrder does offer the M version of the BMW Z3, but not the M version of the 300 series coupe.

My guess is that Audi dealers are likely to be asking MSRP from CarOrder for the S4, so CarOrder will carry it until the demand for the S4 tails off, and dealers start asking for an A4-like markup. I doubt that this will occur before CarOrder stops selling at MSRP.

Make that "invoice", not "MSRP"

Default Yup, TT is MSRP (not invoice) + 3000$, and...

... other high-demand cars are also very expensive.

C5 Corvette: invoice 33.5K, MSRP 39K, carorder, 38K
Porsche Boxter: 300$ below MSRP

(I'm posting from memory, so don't nickel-and-dime me here...)

I expect a high-demand, new vehicle like the S4 to either not be availble from carorder, or be priced high...
