it's the cat - maybe consider getting testpipes and o2 defoulers

Default it's possible - are your front o2 sensors original? bank 1 o2 might be going south too

i take back what i said originally. if your o2 sensors are original, you should go ahead and replace your front o2 as preventative maintenance and to possibly remedy this code

Default yes, to my knowledge they are stock, i mean, i'm still on stock brake pads and rotors!!

Bank 1 is drivers side correct. Also, is the sensor located in the DP so I gotta pull the DP and replace it??

Default B1 is passenger side and the Downpipe stays in to replace

It may cure your cat code as it did for me.

Default I got the same code last week, my mechanic took the cat out

conclusion the cat has to be replaced, loose parts inside, it's defective. My cat back system is AWE, 2yrs ago bank1 cat was replaced (free of charge) by AWE, this cat was part of a bad batch they produced in 2002. Now it's the bank1 cat, probably the same thing, my car has only 27K, I'm waiting to hear from AWE.
