clutch slave cylinder will not go into transmission bellhousing
No matter how hard I push, my slave cylinder does not want to go into the bellhousing far enough so that I can line it up with the bolt hole and thread it in. Any ideas on why this could be happening? This is after I just finished installing an rs4 clutch with a new pilot bearing and throwout bearing. What are some potential reasons for this occuring?
any help is much appreciated!

grease the rubber where it will contact the bell housing ... you should know you gotta lube it before you stick it in!!
also, do you have the line hooked up to the slave cylinder? if so, it will give some resistance.
theres also always the possibility you really messed things up inside the bell housing and the fork is messed up, but you should know if you messed up or not

Is vibration in the clutch pedal only attributed to a bad throw out bearing? What can I do to fix...
