coilover opinions
I plan on installing H&R Ultra coilovers this spring, but I will consider others if they appear to be equal to or better than the Ultras (in regards to price and performance). I stumbled upon the set from APEX that has 24 way damping adjustment, which would be nice. Does anybody know anything about this set? I was looking for a pic, but I can't remember what site was selling them....
Thanks for any info,
Steve

Go with the set up from Stasis Engineering ... you won't regret it
Their set up is a Hyperco spring, spec-ed to your rate and a matched Koni shock. Getting 24 way damping adjustments frankly will get you in trouble if you aren't an expert with a shock dyno. Buy the spring rate you want and let an expert match the shocks to that rate. I have Vortrag's which is the old version of this set up and they are simply the best. Ask anyone who has driven the Hyperco/Koni set up along with any of the others and you will get a consistent answer. And Stasis is a GREAT outfit that is really working hard on continual improvements to all their products (I know they have instituted several slight tweaks to improve the coilovers since I bought them.) Talk to Paul at Stasis.

http://stasisengineering.com/index.htm</a
