Dealer parts to buy before discontinuation

Dealer parts to buy before discontinuation
I understand that Audi dealers only stock parts for 10 years past the last model year. For us that means 2012.
I just crossed 100k with my 2000 S4 and plan to keep driving it for many more years to come.
Can anyone suggest any parts that would be worth buying now before they are hard or impossible to get after dealer stock disappears?

Good question.
That's why I had to sell the Urq
to someone who had a parts car a couple years ago.
I think I'd look at the common problem list and go from there.
EGT sensors, TBB,etc.

I know there are other threads, as well.

Great thread!
I think Im going to replace the tbb with the apr bi-pipe just because I think it will go in the future and this mod would eliminate that from happening.
Sensors will be something Im going to replace soon. MAF is prone to failure so stock up on those bad boys. sensors- ignition control module/driver&passenger egt/o2 sensor/low temp after run coolant sensor/coolant temp sensor/maf conversion. Also thinking about the ecs ignition kit which replaces spark plugs&coil packs and spark plug boots I think.
Im at 90,000 ish and just had to replace a wheel bearing and some brakes- so those would be something else to consider.
I need a new dash display. I think Im just going to get the actual replacement one instead of doing the quick install- I know its pricy but Id rather have an actual factory unit.
Im getting new dps and exhaust probably with straight pipes cause I will probably be getting a super fuel conservative vehicle in the future and keep this as my baby.
Im trying to think of other work
