Default MArk is the S-flow ITG filter from the G60 VW kit, thus the G60 extension?

Can't find the supplied ITG filter from the S-flow kit on the ITG site, is it custom sized?

Thanks bro

Tory

The one in the S-flow kit is only rated at 300bhp is that an issue?!

Default we chose the G60 filter because the staging element is better...

suited to a high heat environment like the S4 and it has been proven in a forced induction application ...the manufacturer recommended this type of staged foam for this application!

Default Good catch, I noticed this awhile back too - however the rating is for N/A cars,

for forced induction you multiply that by some factor. K&N says the same thing for their filters when they give a HP rating. I don't remember what the factor is, but a 300hp filter would be good for something over 400hp in our turbo car.

Default That rating is for a NA application, we had that filter on Blitz car when he ran high 12's...

he was probably making 380hp+ at that time...the filter darin used is the same exact filter(velocity stacks etc are the same) with a cylindrical shape versus a taper-the cylindrical shape offers a larger surface area but, the large majority of the airflow comes right at the base of the velocity stack which in both applications is the same!

Default that's odd. I got 279 g/s pretty consistant from about 4k to 6500k using the stock airbox and

this. I'll try it again and see what results
i get once my VAG COM cable gets fixed.

Default so do you recommend cutting the bottom of the air box to suck more air to increase hp?

i have a s-flo so is our setup optimal? or will we benefit from the "hole" in the bottom mod?

if so can you shoot some picture of your setup?
and a little mini how to?
