Default Do the Valeo e-code lights make that big of a difference?

In light output? I could care less about the clear corners, I want to know if they're worth it from a functional standpoint. Lots more light, huge difference from our US DOT versions?

Default e code uses non-diffused(stepped) projector lens and has a more crisp cut-off. Also the city light

is a plus in my book. But for 500 i still pass.

Default Yes, I had them on my A4 and they put the S4 Xenons to shame.

The U.S. diffused lens just sucks.
The Valeo unit seemed so much brighter plus I could discern the crisp cutoff line on upcoming highway (green) signs what seemed like 100 yards away.

Default Have you priced them out yet? I saw some on GMGs site for $495, but not sure if they are Valeo.

I would imagine they are since they are a high end tuning shop.

Default One of the first mods I did. Worth every penny. Currently using with 50w Phillips ..

great setup .. light up about almost 3 car lengths. I think e-codes having gone up about $50 since last year tho.

Default unfortunately the recent batches of e-codes have had dimpled lenses which provide inferior output

compared to the original smooth lenses. BUT, the output is still better than US lenses.
