Default Does the PCV system actually sucks air in from the limiting valve at idle/off boost?

I'm putting in a catch can and I capped the spider hose connection to the intake manifold. Put in a hose with a check valve from the intake manifold to the output of the catch can and limiting valve via a T connector so that the intake manifold gets "filtered" air.

The check valve will let air to be sucked-in by the intake manifold but it also sucks air in from the Y-pipe/limiting valve connection. Is this how stock PCV on our car works?

Any input is appreciated.
