Default Don't Slam It

Well a few years ago this original owner upgraded (might have been the opposite) the suspension. I went with Voglands, loved them, but slammed it to zero gap. Harsh low and teeth rattleing. Since then I've raised them a bit every few years. This week raised them to about 2 inches rear, 1 1/2 front. Folks it still handles great but no where near as harsh. It's back to the way it was designed to ride, in my opinion. It still looks great even with the larger gap. Anyway moral of the story, don't hate on the original setup. If I had it all do do again, I wouldn't have changed a thing. The compromise between ride and handling was superb from the factory.

I agree with your decision to bring it back to stock height. It's all up to the owners personal tastes. As another original owner, my suspension is totally unchanged from the way it left the factory. Very much stock and I like the way it looks.
