We sold out of them already.

Bilstein shocks have longer shock bodies which you need with a shorter lowering spring to avoild bottoming out. The 10mm groove was offered to lower the pearch more. This was an affordable option we offered to drop your car more on lowering springs rather then spend thousands on coil overs if some one was on a budget.

The perch sits in the groove. Meaning you can make a groove lower on the shock body from where the perch should sit stock. This way you're able to lower the car more buy putting the perch lower on the shock body.

Works pretty much the same way a coil-over does by moving the perch down on the threads to get lower.

Hope this helps!
