having been on AWEs side before and on your side i can understand both points
but you have to understand that you ARE 1 in a 1000 kits and its tough to drop everything and jump a couple states over to help someone for no extra cash. They can help from what the installer gives them but its only as good as the data they get since the car isnt directly in front of them, FWIW i think there are some shops that can probably chase down problems faster then others. further having worked on many DBW VAG cars it is relatively uncommon for the boost sensor (in comparison to other factors) to fail and much more common for things like the N75 which is a working/moving part to fail or even a MAF though that wouldnt necessarily cause the issues you were having. when looking at a car blindly it generally becomes a process of tracking down known issues and going from there. you DID say the person who found the problem was in direct contact with the car.

The performance is all well and good but the attitude leaves much to be desired.
I just hope that part of him doesn't have an effect on your marketing/reputation.

Yeah - I don't so much think "AWE 11 Second car" as I think "loudmouth guy who starts crap". (long)
If you subscribe to the "any press is good press" methodology, that works.
I think I speak for many people when I say that I don't attribute BBB to "great AWE engineering". Especially when you consider that much of his times are based on weight reduction - which I think is a completely valid and respectable thing.
That said, people not on Audiworld don't know him. So maybe they just see "11 second S4" and they say "Wow! Gotta get me some of that!". They don't know his personality and just judge the car.
Of course, on the other hand, maybe they don't get the full info and think that just by buying an AWE kit they'll have an 11 second car - not knowing a thing about weight reduction or other mods he may have done. In that case, perhaps it's misleading?
*shrug* Just thinking outloud.
My main point is: in my personal opinion, BBB makes me think a bit less of AWE than I would if he wasn't sponsored. But I haven't bought any AWE products - so maybe my opinion is irrelevant.
