Even after hardwiring the V1 all the way down the A pillar....
I still get random laser warnings due to less then 12Vs running through or so I am told, it did fix the laser warnings when I honk and they arent as bad as they were before, when I had it wired through the sunroof. But honestly wtf do I have to do to get them to comp. stop through the **ker out the window.

Well, I just dont want to pay 180 and get it back to realize it is still happening..
It is somewhat beatin up, but who knows I have it fuseboxed and everything, its most likely the unit, but there is no way of knowing for sure or at least any test I can think of. The lifetime warranty is a nice thing, but they require you to pay 180 for all this garbage you dont need like wires etc you can just replace the unit.

lol thanks for the idea smart A <3, but ....................
It happened even with the lighter and I have read countless times of people only doing the hardwire because it happens with the cig lighter and not the fuse box so.....suck oneeeeeeeeeee

When do you get the random Laser? Are there other cars around you such as
behind a newer vehicle with it's break lights on. There are also many vehicles that use laser to monitor distances for cruise control and such. Mines goes off more frequently than it ever use too.

Ok, so its hardwired, but where do you keep the detector?
You do know that having it near the radio head unit will give false Laser alarms? Try pointing it at the radio and you'll see what I mean.
When I kept my V1 pinched between the seat back and head rest, I would get false laser alarms frequently.
Just trying to help.
