They'll check it for free. Call tech support and talk to them about the problem. They will tell you
to ship it to them and they'll check it out. Mine was "out of alignment" and wasn't picking up signals correctly. They fixed it for free and sent it back. Mine was a few years old and it wasn't a problem. I've done this twice.

Mine gives me an error 'E' when my car stays in the sun for a long period of time (3hrs+)
when I start the car I get an "E" on the display. After 5 min or so of driving with AC on the display goes back to normal (After I recycled on/off). Anybody else ever experienced that? BTW I'm in FL and for several months it's hot as hell here. Sometimes I will unplug the unit and store it in my armrest, when I do that my V1 works fine.
