exhaust issue??
well last week in ny we got 15" of snow and so my s4 had to make its way around in that, 2 days ago i was driving around and my exhaust went from being stock to sounding like a loud evo... pull over to side of road and sure enough my exhaust pip was hanging down, apparently the clamp that held the pipe out of the cat to muffler broke, for now its quick fixed with a autozone hanger holding it up the pipe next to it while i wait for y pipes/cutouts to arrive, is their any issue aside from noise driving around like this for a while untill the parts come..being as only half the system is open.....2nd does any one know if u can use the speaker wires that connect to the rear deck subs/speakers, as line inputs for the amp as i dont wana have to rip out the whole dash.

You shouldn't have any issues other than the noise from having one of your exhaust sleeves come off.
I don't know what the gauge of the wires are that you are referring to, or how big that amp is, but if you're running a much more powerful audio set-up you need to get some pretty thick wires.

well I know I need to use some 4 gauge wire for the power and what not, but when it refers to the line inputs via rca from the back of the head unit, being as the bose doubledin doesnt have rca jacks u have to splice in a converter, but im thinking if you just splice in all the way in the back where the wires are already run it should still be the same signal going threw but instead of the speaker the amp would recive it and then send it to the sub, im trying to put in a kenwood class d mono 1000w max, with 2 12" kicker comps

well i wired up the subs and if any one is interested in adding subs to the stock system, all you need is a line level and noise controler, 2 channel differential converter froms axxess or some other car audio company...bout 35 bucks and all you do is wire this to your factory rear speakers and its powerd off the amp, and it lets you use speaker wires that where all ready run threw the car insted of having to remove the center deck to get in and wire it, if any one wants ill put together a write up with some pictures
