fender rolling instructions ...so easy...drawings

Very nice writeup, did you have to cut the metal lip anywhere or did it all roll up without problems
Also very good idea to use something like that plastic pipe. Won't mar the paint and should have abit of flex to it for extra saftey.

heat gun or hair dryer or small space heater on waste basket
don't get too hot so I think heat gun is over kill...I found that setting up space heater on up side waste basket worked best b/c hot air gets trapped in wheelwell heating up entire fender and liner pretty evenly...to be sure though i worked one half of fender with heater warming the other half...moved heater to other half and rolled the ther now warm half..and so on...just keep it warm and keep moving as i said total time only about 15-20 min plus another 15-20 to get just so perfect...In fact i did one side after coming home and eninge heat alone made it almost warm enough (only 1 spot had small spider cracks - with the heater had none and job went faster)

Did pretty much as you wrote up here last year- good write up. The key is
making sure fender is warm to prevent paint crack.
I did it on on my car after driving AND used hair dryer.
Cracked paint would really suck- it pays to be cautious.
