First Dyno Run on ASP K04/RS6 (more inside) pretty long...
Went for my first ever dyno run today, which was spur of the moment as my friend with an B7 2.0 Avant called me up and told me to get down there.
I can send the logs to someone if they would like to host it for me. The shop (torque freaks in portland) runs a dynojet. I had ECUx logging at the same time as well.
From their site (in case this means anything)-
"We use the industry standard for measuring horsepower with our two Dynojet dynamometers. We have a Dynojet model 248x that is linked to the Dynojet model 224x which allows us the capability to measure horsepower and torque to the wheels for 2WD as well as AWD vehicles."
Anyway- I have ASP's K04/RS6 code with turbos from them. ASP DP's with Cats, Milltek 3" single, ASP clutch, 90mm MAF, Darintake with stock filter, AWE IC's, RS4 REPS (if it matters). I am sure that I am missing something but let me know and I will answer.
The car us running super rich according to their sniffer wideband starting at 11 at 4K and dipping into the 9's for 5K through 6.5K - (I will post the graphs once they email them to me. Mark knows of this and is working with me but this should help them out.
Also, the IC cooling sucked there big time!- IAT's on the first run peaked at 155 and the third run (most HP) peaked at 200 (I typically see 80-90 on the street in similar weather during a FATS)
Three back to back passes with no cool down on 13 gallons of 92 (Washington) + 1 gallon of toluene (about 93.5 ocatane)yielded the following:
#1 390.15 AWHP/374 TQ (160 IAT- but best timing)
#2 388 AWHP/360 TQ (133IAT start- 194 peak IAT - worse timing- 6 less degrees)
#3 395 AWHP/355TQ (140IAT start 200 IAT peak even worse timing)
I was nervous at first but it went alright. I think if we can fix the richness it should be quite a bit better. Also Race fuel and a race file with test pipes or cut outs would be fun to see. I beat all but one of the really bad *** EVO's that I saw (full race car). I think an STi put down some good numbers but I didn't see it.
My S4 and my buddies APR 93 2.0 Tip were the only two audi's there and he had issues with the switching tech and only made one pass in stock mode.
A twin turbo big block mustang put down 997 WHP and there were quite a few Supras there. One put 700+ down on the first pass and then proceeded to put about an 8" inspection hole in the block when they went to the nitrous.
Let me know if any of you can post the log file for me.

some charts and supra pics- no dyno charts or A/F yet
I was shocked to see the FATS at 4.4 when I run 3.1 to 3.2 (on the street) on the same set up. Is this the IAT's or just normal to dyno runs?

Thanks- Are you in SEA? I come up there occasionally. I like the set up but...
I don't have much to compare it too other than a ride in Cory at Matrix's car which was a beast.
I still think you are right- my IAT's sucked and timing started to get pretty bad on the later two runs so if my FATS dyno measures pretty close to the real dyno I think the real dyno is high. I hope that makes sense. Also that FATS runs on the dyno took 4.4 seconds which seems like a long time compared to the real thing.
The IAT's were over double (almost triple) what I see on the street . I think I will do a real FATS run today or tomorrow just to see what it says. The first pass was actually the best timing I have seen (even on the street), but I normally run straight 92 without the toluene so I have to attribute it to that.
At least nothing broke (other than the supra)and the Audi represented alright. My buddy said he thinks the STi put down just under or over 500 (since I believe you have one of those too).

I am running AWE's. I think that I may look at the ASP now that it is out but...
for the most part I am pretty happy with the AWE's but I am sure I would get a little better performance out of it.
That is awesome power of the subbie- let me know how it ends up.
