Default Try bostonaudi.org ...I think they have list of good shops in the area.

Or can point you in the right direction, for your exact location and willingness to travel.

Default Shine Racing Service

It is in Walpole, so it kind of depends on whether you consider that the Boston-area.

Eli is the shop's point of contact.

The best: www.statusautoservice.com Only a short drive up to NH, and worth it.

had an issue with this guy, first he did some bs with my abs (while charging me $250, abs still won't work+ no abs light or brake is working either nor beeps are ever beeping) + i was changing a door from mine to salvaged, cause i had a break in, he forgot to change locks, still can't get a hold of him.
so wouldn't recommend him.

There is a mechanic name Jesse he lives in Boston area. he does stuff quickly an no hassles, changed steering, tb+ waterpump.. my close friend with allroad advised me to him and he is great.

Default Stay away from Frank Dota

Frank Dota posts on craigslist. He is a scumbag. Do not trust him. Had him replace cam tensioners in my A6. He set the timing wrong on the cam chains - both banks. He was using specs from a software program alldatapro.com. He claimed it was the exact same as Audi. Wrong! After setting the timing wrong, he would not come back and fix it. Chased him for 3 weeks. Have had to filoe a report with my local police department. Taking him to small claims court. Since, I have gotten correct specs from a local Audi dealership on correct timing for cam chain. Went in and fixed myself. Frank was off 2 chain rollers on each bank. This guy is an idiot.

This guy lives with his parents! He is over 40 years old and does all his repairs in his parents front yard! NO GARAGE! Do a google search for him and you will see what kind of reputation he has.
