Im not sure if i want a 2001 audi s4 or should i go for a 04 or 05 S4?? can you please give me pros and cons of both thank you

01 is cheaper, gets better gas mileage and is a lot more fun to tune if you wrench on it yourself.

04,05 is a lot more money but since it's newer it should have few items to replace from a maintenance standpoint.

Just depends. Do you like to modify cars-then get the 01. If you like to just make a monthly payment and drive get the 04.

Anyway that's my 2 cents.

The 01 S4 is cheap to buy up front but after a while the maintenance costs will catch up with you if you do not do some of the work yourself and treat the car right. But personally I prefer the 01 because of the many modding/tuning options and I think it looks better than the 04-05.

The B6 S4 is not a reliable car! read up on it...timing chain guide/tensioner wear that will eventually require an engine pull to fix else engine is destroyed. About a $5K job or more, depending on who does it. And the higher the miles the more at risk...
