short story of the issues i've been having. I have not been driving my S4 regularly and after replacing my steering rack and cleaning under the car i have had the issue that once the car seems to warm up the car will unexpedely die, some times the epc and check engine light will come on solid, other times the epc and cel will rapidly flash, and i note a clicking under the hood. Apparently my ignition switch may need to be replaced due to vagcom not connecting to the car.
I initally thought i had narrowed down the problem to a bad crank postition sensor, but after replacing this evening still no go, car actually shut down sooner than had before.
Anybody have any insight or thoughts? I really wanted to get back to driving my car but with all the issues i've been having i can't drive it let alone trust it.
