Help! Stuck on inner cv boot replacement. I got the cv joint off the axle but i cant seperate the
metal cover on the old boot off of the cv joint.
heres some pics of what im talking about. I tried plyers and it wont move. Its like its glued on.. Any Ideas

Came down to a hammer and skinny screwdriver - you can knock one of the sides loose and then the rest comes off like butter. It's a PITA though. Good luck.
