Default How to get 300 awhp without Turbo/ko4 upgrade

Question:

Is it possible to get 300hp to wheels without upgrading turbos?

Car is in the shop as I write this and its already being upgraded to XS-Power 3" to 2.5 Dps with complete Twin 1 2.5". Also will be adding APR Stage 2 tune. In addition, K&N air filter in existing air box. APR bi-pipe is also in process.

What should be my next step and am I shooting for the moon trying to achieve 300hp to the wheels without turbo upgrade?

Please help soon as I have one week to finish this build and a limited budget

Even though dyno numbers vary from dyno to dyno, it's possible on race gas w/ the APR tune. A decade ago (damn, has it been that long?) a forum member and I dynoed on a mustang dyno one car on the APR stage 2 pump tune (93 pump) and one on the race tune (105 octane fuel). My car on pump made 272whp/347whp, his made 306whp/366wtq. A stock car made 200whp/220-240wtq if I recall correctly. Both cars had just chip, cat-back, no downpipes. I ended up going K04s before getting a chance to dyno the K03s with turbo back exhaust.

Honesty if you're going to keep the car a long while, K04 or something bigger would be the way to go. Just so you don't send your K03s to the mooon. I have over 100k miles on my K04s and they're still alive and kicking.

I appreciate the quick reply. So I think my final question will be is it absolutely necessary to add a FMIC to run at Stage 2. Will there be any HP gain? Or is this something I can hold out on until I get bigger turbos and go stage 3?

You don't need an FMIC or upgraded SMICs to run stage 2. Would it help sustain the performance better over multiple pulls? Yes, but the car will still run well w/o them at stage 2. I have ER SMICs on my car currently, but I ran stock ICs on my S4 when stage 1, 2, 2+ & 3. If you go to K04s or larger, I would upgrade. So, answer is....you can hold out till you upgrade turbos. As long as your stock ICs aren't leaking badly or something.
