How many people here have the STaSIS Close Ratio transmission? Worth the extra coin?
I know it's kind of a stupid question as whether or not it's worth the extra cash is contingent upon one's opinion.
2nd gear is going out and I'm anticipating the replacement of my transmission. I live by the code of 'fix it once it's broke'.
My A6 is my daily driver and I drive at least 2,000 miles per month. I'm a VERY agressive driver. If I pull the tranny out at 120k, I'd be crazy not to do turbos and clutch while the car is already in pieces.
I know STaSIS makes a great product and when the time comes I will at least go with their OE rebuild. Would the close ratio be too much for a daily driver?
Like I said, I'm anticipating this repair and in the meantime I would like to figure out my plan of attack for when the time comes.

Thanks for any and all advice.
