How, and in what way can a newly installed "race" n75 change the dynamic of a particular tune when
coming from a regular n75 that was on the fritz? I didn't think that the race version could have and impact if the tune was done with the old regular n75...I just was told that they are just simply more robust...no?

With the "race" version, you get more boost at the same n75 duty.. (more)
The effect depends on the style of the tune.
If the tune is closed loop boost control, you'll get a big spike when the boost comes up, which may be accompanied by throttle cut. The spike duration and amount may change with gear and rpm.
If the tune is open loop boost control, you'll just most likely overboost everywhere.
Just get an EOM N75 if that's what the tune is for.
