I just traded a good friend my stock rs6ss for some rs6 hybrids with billet compressor wheels and im looking into buying some 3 inch downppipes because I felt that my 2.5inch downpipes could not keep up with the rs6ss and these things are huge comp wheels

Here are my old rs6ss

Your hybrid turbos still have the original K04-028 & K04-029 compressor housings, don't they? You pictures are kind of blurry, but the inlet shrouds look to have been machined to be bigger on both the inside and outside dimensions. Here is a pic of two unmodified RS6 turbos...

These original BW turbos have 51mm OD inlets. Are yours bigger? Keep in mind I'm talking about the outside dimension of the housings. I'm noticing that because it's kind of a big deal to fabricate in an oversize dimension.

Also, any chance of posting up pictures that aren't blurry?

Thanks!

sorry -- I posted the wrong picture. HERE is the photo of OEM K04-028 and -029 turbos I was supposed to post above. Why can't I edit my posts? Is this some kind of newbie restriction?

the inlets have been completely removed and larger ones where welded on and yes they are full rs6 turbos k04 28 and 29 that have been clearnced and ported with billet comp wheels that are 20% larger then rs6 wheels so they are going to move some serious air
