Anyone know roughly when they changed the parts to the newer ones? (gulp)

Default Jim, was just looking at some of your other images. What do you have holding the car up? Looks like

some kind of ramp, but it's under the frame and not the wheels.

Default did you ever find out what warped your disc like that on the pressure plate.....(more)

Just got a look at mine off the car yesterday and was looking for abuse or weird wearing becuase I was reminded of your earlier post. My clutch was entirely worn with no grooves at all yet the Pressure plate was still flat and everthing looked evenly worn just needed replacing. Which is entirely different than yours which still has grooves yet their unevenly worn and the disc is severly warped.I would be very disturbed if that came off my car.

Default It's a dealer display ramp, also sold for DIY folks! It is sitting on it's wheels.

The whole thing tilts so the car can back off. Gravity operated, feels very odd to drive it on or off, the thing see-saws as you pass over its center.

Yea, I'd drop the engine in my old beetle just to change the spark plugs, easier to reach that way.
