I agree with you...
Now I'm getting conflicting info from my friends Dad who talked to "execs" at the meet who said there's B6 S4s running around in europe with V8's and twin turbo 3.0 liters, so I still won't fully beleive it till I see it.
Then again I don't think he got that directly from the VP that I talked to...I'll confirm that tomorrow.

I was there too, and I can say that it was pretty awesome talking to the exec from Audi
He was really cool!
We asked him TONS of questions!! We didn't beat around the bush either. He was very careful not to let to much information out (ie info about the next S4) but he did tell us quite a bit...
some other things ben forgot to mention are
- A4 Cabrio will be here in the fall
- RS6 will be here within a year
- Next Gen S4 will be formally announced at Geneva 2003 and that it will arrive on our shores in the fall of 2003!!
- He made it very very clear the the next S4 will NOT have turbos and that it will be the V8 (like ben said)
- He told us that because Audi North America is now the largest importer of audis in the whole world that they have a lot more say in the product. He made it sound like in the last few years they have seen a huge change in that they can actually tell Audi AG what they want and that they aren't just given whatever Audi Germany wants us to have.
Anyway, University Audi ROCKS!!! Thanks for the party UNIV!!

He mention what order we'd see the new S4 in? Sedan, Avant, Cabrio, Coupe?
