I got a letter from Audi UK telling me I was top of their list for when the RS4 comes to the UK next summer. To keep this place I had to go and order one, so I have.

Don't know what the cost will be but I can always back out and get my $800 back if I can't find the cash.
Hopefully they will give me a good trade for my current S4.

I spoke to the RS4 product manager in the UK. It looks like the people who were sent letters are all at the top of the list. Any people who walk into a dealer and order will be put below them in chronological order.
Because I got a letter and put some cash down I will certainly be in the first 25 cars in the uk. He will be able to give me a better indication when the "dust has settled". I bet the people above me are all the "important ones" from London, ex RS2 owners etc (despite the fact I ordered the car on the day after I got the letter)Oh well !
Meanwhile I have now got 3500 miles on the S4 and it is still getting better
