Default Just went stg 3 Have a noise question I can figure out. More inside
In higher gears, 3rd, 4th when I get to about 19 to 20psi, I hear a squeeling sound. Like a belt squeel but it sounds more like its coming from the clutch/flywheel area. I went with a CM stg3 clutch and alum FW. I know it cant be the clutch slipping as it wouldnt squeel. A friend who is a mechanic said it could be a throw out bearing. Whats your thoughts? It seems to only do it under a large load. More so with a passenger or 2.

did you break in your clutch after going stage 3?

will it still make it in 5th at 19-20psi or just 3rd/4th?

From inside your car, you can tell that a high RPM noise is coming from the clutch/flywheel area?

What RPM is this at? If it is near your Torque peak (~4K), be suspicous...

I put a full 500 miles on it. I have about 890 now on this clutch.

Nah, sounds more like a loose fan belt. I thought about a belt but it doesnt do it in 1 or 2

Default first thought is a boost leak at the compressor housing banjo bolt but..
but with so little info impossible to say
