Default lcd screen works but.....

It only works when the car doors are open or i need fuel, light out, blah blah blah.... it used to work fine with some lines missing but now when I'm driving it's just all black until I open the door.

Any ideas?

did ya try the reset button on the bottom of the windshield wiper stalk? That turns the screen on and off.

stalk like the stick thingy that controls the windshield wipers and speed. On the end of that stalk, there's a rocker type switch that will cycle through the info on the center screen, there's also the button I'm taking about which is on the bottom of that same stak, called the reset button. Press that to turn on and off that center screen.

Good luck and god's speed!
Chris
