Default Looking for Sales Advice on 2000 S4 Tip

I hate to do this but purchase of a house dictates sale of my beloved S4 instead of continuing with the original plan of custom paint and Stage 3. Please give me blunt feedback on the real world sale price. Here goes and thanks in advance:

2000 Silver Audi S4 Tiptronic Sedan, Vin: WAUDD68D8YA078366
Clean New Jersey title, current inspection
Mileage 17x,xxx

When you look at the fanatical, meticulous service records you will believe that I planned to keep it forever and build a Stage 3 car. Any iffy belt, hose, wire - anything has been replaced with OEM or upgraded parts. They think I am crazy at the shop.

Bought the S4 in the winter of 2007 in TN and spent $4k with the top Audi mechanic in Knoxville before driving it home. It had received fanatical maintenance before I bought it.

Cosmetics: Black interior. Never in an accident, clear Carfax. Driver's door handle shows wear. No tears in leather.Front bumper assembly recently replaced by top bodyshop. The rest of the paint is tired.

Engine: bone stock and never chipped; extensive maintenance history showing 3k oil change intervals with oversized oil filters for more efficient cooling and lubrication. Annual changes of ALL fluids; recent timing belt;

Non-stock items

Evolution Racewerks Intercoolers
K&N air filter
Forge diverter valves.

Brakes: Zimmerman upgraded drilled front rotors and performance pads, stock rears

Suspension: Eibach 1” spring and damper kit. Front axles replaced, perfect allignment

Wheels & Tires: 4 x 225/45R17 Kumho Ecsta ASX
Mounted on 4 x 17X8 Silver Painted MSW Type 15 from Tire Rack. These replace the 18" wheels that were too tall for the car. Spare is full-sized OEM 17” wheel and tire.

Comes with original owner’s manual and books and extensive service history. I will take pictures and run an ad after feedback.

maybe $6,500. Kelly BB puts the private sale value at just over 6 grand - you're going to have a hard time convincing anyone to pay 2.5 grand more for a car with that mileage.

Forget the house. Sleep in the car.

If you need to sell a $6k car to finance a house, you're not ready for the house. Not trying to be mean, just saying...

Some pics would help. Your expectations have to be reasonable. If this thing were mint condition you'd be lucky to get $6,000. You have 2 things going against you. It's a tip, and the high mileage.

A 2000 tired Silver paint, Tip, with 170K is really not going to grab any enthusiast. If you have crazy records maybe $4500. Take off the mod parts & sell them sep & put it back to stock.
