Hey guys, im actually new to these forums. I have had an issue with my audi since the day i bought it.

So i average 12mpg even when im on the freeway, the first thing i thought was o2 sensor o2 sensor o2 sensor, hooked it up to a vag and scanned for codes and there was no cel for the primary o2 sensors, just the rear ones. But i deleted the primary cats so thats why i have a cel for those.

So here is the interesting thing, if i start my car and drive it immediately without it warming up, i know i know not good. But if i floor it, the car seems very noticeably faster until the engine warms up? in fact i was very surprised how much faster the car was when its cold.

The only thing i can think of is EGT's, am i on the right track? Anyone else have this problem?

I replaced my egt's and it solved a lot of my fuel consumption problems and I noticed a fairly large increase in power. these were a pain to change but well worth the work.
