Have not made a post on here in quite some time, however, I am hoping to get my hands on another B5 S soon. I have located a 2001 in my general area with 100k...Very hesitant to purchase one with such high milage since I sold my last S4 at 75k and did experience some costly repairs in its final months. Can those of you with cars in this milage range give me some advice? Do it or no? This car would go stgIII very quickly and I am hesitant to put this sort of strain on the 2.7t so late in its life...any advice you guys can offer on higher milage vehicles would be great.

What are they asking for this one with the mileage? Take the vin to Audi and ask them if they have any service records. They may be able to offer some direction for free.

"They" would be me. I am asking between $10k and $12k. I am open to all cash offers ABOVE KBB, EDMUNDS, and NADA. I think that's fair, given the market for Stg3 S4 cars these days. Especailly since all the "trouble" areas have been covered. Why get a lower mileage one that still has all those headaches to go through?

I have all service records since I have owned it. If you have a chance to read the VWVortex post, you will see the original owner did almost all of his own work.
