TJ: Please share how you hooked-up your catch can to the pcv system?

Default I actually didn't make a catchcan, but helped a number of folks on here in designing theirs.

The PCV purge on the Y pipe is really the only line I'd be concerned with. You can just splice into it.

My sedan never had a PCV oil issue, so I had no need to create one, my Avant might need one though. I'm considering doing a duocyclone separator with a check-valved passive crankcase drain.

Default I spliced into the spider hose limiting valve connection and put the catch can in there (more)

I also capped the spider hose connection to the intake manifold. Put in a hose with a check valve from the intake manifold to the output of the catch can and limiting valve via a T connector so that the intake manifold gets "filtered" air.

The check valve will let air to be sucked-in by the intake manifold but it also sucks air in from the Y-pipe/limiting valve connection.

For troubleshooting purposes, I reversed the check valve so that the IM won't sucked in air from the limiting valve/Y pipe but my boost won't go past 15psi. You think I would just cap both spider and intake manifold and get rid of that extra hose? Is there enough vacuum in the Y pipe to keep the pcv system working?
