My first track day this sat, any last minute preparations?

if you still have time, put some Motul 600 brake fluid in the car ...
- also, if you can get them, get a set of front track pads for the car - the s4 is an extremely heavy car and will eat your brake pads
- if you can't get trackpads, make sure you have plenty of front brake pad left
- as this is your first event, you should be ok on street pads, but if the track is a shorter track with lots a heavy braking, you will likely need new pads after the event
most important information is:
YOU ARE GOING TO BE VERY TIRED AFTER THE EVENT (IT WILL SNEAK UP ON YOU WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING HOME) SO MAKE SURE YOU ARE CAREFUL DRIVING HOME
- when I did my first event years ago, I went to bed that evening at 8:30 and my head was spinning with all the visual information my brain took in
If you can:
- try your hardest to get as many rides as possible with instructors in their cars
- it will blow your mind away at what is possible if they are good and they have hoosier tires
- absolutely DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO WHAT THEY JUST DID AFTER YOU GET THIS RIDE
- when you are getting this ride, try and feel / listen when the are on the throtle and when they get off the brakes - this will help a lot

So I'm bummed I can't go now because the soonest they have a necessary track orientation is Apr15
Thanks a ton for the tips though, they'll definitely be helpful!

Another successful track day in the books...and that's not just because of the R8 sighting at PIR!!!
